Joseph Goddu is an art consultant, independent curator, private dealer, appraiser, and award-winning writer and lecturer with expertise in American Art from the 18th century until the present. With 35 years of experience in the commercial gallery, auction, and museum fields, he is uniquely qualified to provide a wide range of art services to both individuals and institutions.   

He has curated gallery and museum exhibitions on a wide range of topics within American art and lectured to university, museum, and private groups. He has served on the board of the International Print Center New York since 2004, including tenure as Chairman from 2008 until 2014. Prior to that, he gave a decade of board service to the International Fine Print Dealer’s Association.

In addition to working with important private collections, he has helped over 50 public and private institutions acquire and de-access works of art over the course of his long career.
